White Legs in 2015
White Legs is still alive and seems well in 2015. The familiar face and white legs on this red fox are always a welcomed sight.

The Piebald Fox Returns
The fox that is called, "White Legs" has not shown up on any Great Falls, VA cameras in a long time.
White Legs has been one of my favorite individual red foxes around for a long time now, and it has been a pleasure watching he/she romping around the forest.
It's been some time since White Legs last showed, many months actually, but today I checked a camera and realized I finally got an image of the white-legged predator in May.
It's not the perfect image, by any means, but it's enough to prove that it's the fox that I know.
It has grown to be extremely elusive. This could be a good thing though, as red foxes are naturally afraid of humans and should not be fed or petted by people who live nearby.

Piebald Deer Again
Everyone seems to enjoy looking at the video that I posted recently of the piebald buck. People have emailed and told me that they want to see more.
Also, in some workplace environments, streaming video online is not allowed or blocked completely. I figured I would take some snapshots of the video and put them in this post so that more people could enjoy them.

Piebald Buck
Undisclosed Location, Loudoun County, Virginia.
A piebald buck is a male deer that has a different colored coat than most other white-tailed deer. It contains white splotches, patches, or markings and sticks out like a sore thumb in the woods. It is a rarity among most white-tailed deer populations.
I've dedicated a few cameras to get photographs of piebald deer in locations where they have been seen in Great Falls, Virginia, but did not expect to see one at all when I checked a camera in Loudoun County.
Such a beautiful deer!
