Fairfax Coyote
This post isn't about the writing or the experiences, but rather just the pictures. All you really need to know is that the animal is a definite coyote, the place is in Great Falls, Virginia, and that I am really excited.
It could be, but I look at this as a typical summertime coyote. Their legs are long and may seem out of proportion to the rest of their body. In the summer, most coyotes around here lack their winter coats and shed a lot of fur.
He looks spooky!
ReplyDeleteLinda, thanks for stopping by my blog. I agree, the coyote is a spooky looking one, especially when it's taken with an infrared flash camera.
DeleteHad one in North Arlington just last week. Knowing how they travel, could be the same one!
ReplyDeleteAm I wrong to think that coyote looks malnourished? =(
